Adding Events

Enhanced and Premium users can add and edit listings for events taking place throughout the tidal River and Firth of Clyde region at any time of the year. We may also add details of events that have already been published. Only featured events taking place between June and September will form part of the official annual Turning the Tide On the Clyde programme by prior arrangement. Please contact us of you would like to include your event in the programme (no charge for the remainder of 2022).

All event listings will need to be approved by an site admin before going live. While we do allow certain events that promote alcohol (such as beer festivals, whisky tasting, brewery/distillery tours, etc - age restrictions must be specified in the event listing. We have a strict policy against religious or political events, and events that promote gambling (with the exception of National Lottery funded projects).

Adding Attractions

Attraction listings cover places of interest and things to do throughout the region and may include for example; historic sites/buildings, museums, landmarks, beaches, walking routes, specific places, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs), Marine Protected Areas.

All registered site users may add atraction listings and we are aiming to build the most comprehensive database ever of recreational opportunities in the Firth of Clyde region.

While attraction listings may not promote a specific business or organisation (other than through sponsorship of the listing), we do allow listings of attractions (such as museums, visitor centres, regular guided tours, etc) that are operated by a business or organisation.

Attraction listing will be reviewed and approved by a site admin before being published.

Adding Features

You may submit features, articles, reviews, etc that are relevant to recreation, tourism, communities and heritage in the region. You must only submit your own work or be submitting on behalf of the author.

Attraction listing will be reviewed and approved by a site admin before being published.
